Philips Intellectual Property & Standards provides a number of services for optical disc and drive manufacturers. The services include physical and logical verification, specification documents, test discs and tools. The table below lists the available services. Click on the item of choice for more information. Ordering Information Agreements

Below you will find reference copies of all our Information Agreements :

Original standard specifications are available from Philips only. Standard specifications, of which many are confidential documents, are primarly intended for licensed manufacturers. The Information Agreement gives access to the same (confidential and non confidential) information as normally delivered to licensed manufacturers. Companies, which do not manufacture products that require a Philips patent license, may conclude an Information Agreement. During a period of  3 to 5 years, depending on the Information Agreement, Information Agreement holders will receive new versions and updates of documentation, together with other relevant information as considered to be important or useful by Philips in connection with the standard specifications.
